i agree 100% on keeping the trails natural and sick. there are so many amazing pirate trails that i'm pushing to get open.. so that we can legally maintain them. you could ride them all day and still probably not hit all of them. and there are some good dh trails on the back side as well. two that i know about.. reallly fun

It was ALL good...but yeah, the pirate trails were unfrigginbelieveable! I'll be back in the spring with a bigger bike...hit everything I could in vail on a 6" AM bike! I kept up, but it trashed every pivot bolt on my bike. Harsh!
I'll give you a shout when I get there...but I doubt I'll be able to keep up! Keep up the good work man! Cody

Hmm...well, lemme ponder it a bit, we're all still reelin from the weekend! Off the top of my head, I can't think of anything...it was all incredible! All the other parks feel just like that: parks. The Vail trails are EXACTLY that: TRAILS!It was exactly what we were hoping to find and didn't at places like Winter Park and even Solvista. I'd say fight the push for wood structures that the other places are caving in to, all natural is the way to go.
Rumor had it that there's like a 6 hour, mostly downhill trail or something on the backside? If so, is it legit or pirate? Also...how are pirate trails looked at there these days? Thanks man! I'm gonna add you to my friends list so I can keep track of any new developments there. Later! Cody
